Understanding stress and anxiety, how it impacts us, and ways to handle it.

Depression and Suicide prevention

Understanding the symptoms and causes of depression, the warning signs of suicide and what to do if concerned about someone else. (Hint: Tell an adult immediately!)

Week 4

Decision making

Learn the 3 C's of decision making and how to navigate what influences our decisions!

Week 5

Social Media

Discuss the impacts of social media/gaming and how to stay safe from online grooming.

Week 6

Advertising 

Understand the impacts of advertising  on our brains and well-being!

Week 7

Violence in the Media

Become aware of the violence in television, music, and video games, and the impact it can have on our view of the world.

WEek 8

Resiliency

Explores how to overcome challenging and/or uncomfortable situations.
